It's a multiplayer, web based implementation of the turn based strategy game Diplomacy by Avalon Hill, in whichyou have to try and conquer Europe. To win you have to be strategic and diplomatic, making deals and allianceswith other players, and stabbing them in the back when it suits you best.

Dec 23, 2014 Diplomacy is a ridiculous game. Yes diplomacy is the main point of it but the military aspects are so abstract and unrealistic that it defeats the point of them being there. In real life you could not simply waltz into Serbia without a fight as the Austrians learned; nor would one Russian army be a match for one German army and Russia would. In the RTS-game “Diplomacy is Not an Option” you will become a medieval feudal lord in a midlife crisis. Due to your position you must constantly make hundreds of decisions a day related with city management and economic development. You are tired of this monotonous and, so it seems, meaningless existence. Computer Diplomacy screenshots The action takes place in Europe, and the game map is a map of Europe (since before the First world war). We can choose one of the seven great powers (because the game is global strategy) and try, unleashing war and alliances, to conquer the whole of Europe.
